Effective Date: June 1, 2025
OceanDepth pledges to handle all personal information gathered during your dives with the care and respect that the treasures of the deep deserve. This policy charts the currents of our data practices.
As you explore, our cartographers may note: the vessel you sail (device type and browser):
All charted information is used exclusively to maintain safe and enjoyable waters — fixing technical leaks, improving navigation, and charting new territories. We do not sell charts of your movements to external parties.
Essential beacons (session cookies) keep you oriented during your dive. Optional depth-markers (analytics cookies) help us understand which waters are most explored. Optional beacons can be disabled without losing access to our waters.
Certain platform infrastructure is provided by trusted shipwrights operating under strict contractual commitments to protect diver information.
Dive logs are retained for a maximum of six months. Logs are permanently destroyed upon request.
Divers may request to review, correct, or permanently remove their dive logs by contacting our surface support crew.
This pledge may shift with the tides. We will clearly signal significant changes so returning divers can stay informed.
